What we collect
Reading the site: we show no ads and set no tracking cookies. To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which works without cookies and does not identify you. Our server and Cloudflare, which protects the site, may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, page) for security.
Comments: if you comment, we store your comment, the time, and the name and picture of the account you sign in with. With Facebook Login we only receive your public profile (name and profile picture); we do not receive your email, friends or posts.
How we use it
Only to show your comment on the page and to moderate spam. We never sell or share your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
On our own server, in the comment system Remark42. Videos are embedded from YouTube only after you click play, using youtube-nocookie.com; YouTube's own policy applies then.
How to delete your data
- Open any page with comments and sign in with the same account.
- Click your name at the top of the comment box, then use the option to delete your data. Your comments and profile data are removed.
- You can also delete a single comment with the delete button under it. If you cannot sign in any more, reply under any of our YouTube videos and we will delete your data by hand.
